The budget way to Key West: a coach picks you up from Miami Beach or Downtown hotels, drives the Overseas Highway with a stop at the Seven Mile Bridge, and gives you a few hours in Key West before driving back. The whole day runs to about 15 hours. The basic ticket is transport only. You can upgrade to a dolphin watch and snorkel trip, a glass-bottom boat, the trolley or Conch Train, or parasailing.
