The no-car way to do the Everglades. A coach takes you from a meeting point in Miami to Sawgrass Recreation Park, where you board an airboat with priority boarding and head out across the open water at up to 40 mph. The captain stops to point out alligators, birds and turtles.
Back on land there's a sanctuary with more than 50 rescued reptiles, including a 1,000-pound alligator called Cannibal. A group photo is included.
